The CDX 10/810-G/D is size 50 of the Italvibras flameproof series in 6 poles. At 1’000 rpm it delivers 7,94 kN on 50 Hz, with a spheroidal graphite cast iron frame and an extra-thick terminal box cover sized to contain an internal explosion.

The CDX 10/810-G/D houses a three-phase asynchronous motor housed in a flameproof enclosure of type « db ». Gases from an internal explosion can only escape through flameproof joints whose geometry cools them before they reach the outside. Protection IP66, IK08, insulation class F (155 °C), permitted ambient from −20 °C to +40 °C.
The 130 °C thermal protection, fitted as standard on type G/D units, connects to a circuit rated for a maximum of 600 V a.c. and 720 VA, controlled by a pulse switch with manual reset. A PTC thermistor 130 °C is available on specific request.
