Is your installation in a classified area ? If so, the classification — gas, dust or both — determines on its own which families are possible. Does the environment require a particular material ? Intensive washdown, food and pharmaceutical applications call for stainless steel. And what power supply do you have ? On a machine without a mains supply, only the direct current series will do.
Force and polarity are chosen afterwards, within the selected family. A high speed releases and fluidises ; a low speed moves the material with a wider amplitude.
