Size 30 of the CDX series, the CDX 10/310-G/D develops 3,15 kN at 1’000 rpm. Its high-strength aluminium alloy enclosure is sized so that the gases of an internal explosion cannot reach the surrounding atmosphere.

The CDX 10/310-G/D is built around a three-phase asynchronous motor whose protection does not seek to prevent the internal explosion but to contain it. That is the principle of the « db » method, and it requires the enclosure and its joints to remain intact. Protection IP66, IK08, insulation class F (155 °C), permitted ambient from −20 °C to +40 °C, continuous duty S1.
The eccentric weights are set the same way round at both ends of the shaft and must read the same value on the graduated scale. The patented ARS device rules out any error of direction. Thermal protection 130 °C is fitted as standard.
