The CDX 15/1100-G/D opens the run of sizes with a spheroidal graphite cast iron frame. At 1’500 rpm it develops 10,3 kN on 50 Hz, a force-to-speed balance sought after on hoppers and conveyors installed in classified zones.

The CDX 15/1100-G/D houses a three-phase asynchronous motor housed in a flameproof enclosure of type « db ». Gases from an internal explosion can only escape through flameproof joints whose geometry cools them before they reach the atmosphere. Protection IP66, IK08, insulation class F (155 °C), permitted ambient from −20 °C to +40 °C.
A quirk of this size: the permitted input voltage runs from 95 % to 105 % of nominal, where the other sizes in the range accept 90 % to 110 %. The eccentric weights adjust from 0 to 100 % through the patented ARS system.
