The CDX 3/800-G/D is the 2-pole size 30 unit of the Italvibras flameproof series. At 3’000 rpm it delivers 7,35 kN on 50 Hz, with a high-strength aluminium alloy frame and an extra-thick terminal box cover sized to contain an internal explosion.
It is one of the few sizes in the range that also exists as a single-phase version. Audimat supplies and delivers it as official Italvibras distributor.

The CDX 3/800-G/D houses a three-phase asynchronous motor whose enclosure applies the flameproof protection method « db »: the thickness of the frame and the geometry of the flameproof joints stop an internal explosion from spreading to the surrounding atmosphere. Protection IP66, impact resistance IK08, insulation class F (155 °C), continuous operation from −20 °C to +40 °C.
Its centrifugal force adjusts steplessly from 0 to 100 % through the eccentric weights, with the patented ARS system preventing setting errors. Thermal protection 130 °C is fitted as standard, as on every type G/D CDX, and connecting it is an integral part of the conditions of use in a classified zone.
