The increased safety version of the MVSI 15/1410-S02, this vibrator motor is certified II 2GD to run in zones at risk of explosion, whether from gas (zones 1 and 2) or combustible dust (zones 21 and 22) — compliant with the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU.

Design and operation

The MVSI 15/1410E-S02 houses a three-phase asynchronous motor with increased safety (protection method « e »), compliant with the ATEX directive 2014/34/EU and standards EN/IEC 60079-0, -7, -31. Winding in insulation class F, tropicalised as standard; the housing gives IP66 protection, IK08 impact resistance and a noise level measured in free air of ≤ 70 dB(A), for continuous operation from -10°C to +40°C.

Its centrifugal force adjusts steplessly through a patented system (ARS) that rules out errors when setting the eccentric weights. A temperature class T4 version (120°C, power reduced to 630W) is also available on request for zones requiring a stricter class. The bearings are factory-lubricated on the FOR LIFE principle; under heavy use, periodic relubrication every 3’000 to 5’000 hours is recommended from size 35 upwards.
