The ITVAF 6/1510-RS-S08 is built around a three-phase induction motor, supplied from 24 to 690 V depending on type and frequency. The frame is made of high-strength aluminium alloy and the weight covers of high-strength aluminium alloy. The shaft is alloy steel, austempered, and the bearings are of a specific design, drawn for Italvibras to carry heavy loads at high speed — the critical point on this type of machine.
IP66 protection, IK08 impact resistance, insulation class F, tropicalisation as standard, continuous duty S1 from −20 to +40 °C. Mounting is possible in any position. Declared conformity covers the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and standards EN/IEC 60034-1, UL 1004-1, CSA C22.2 No.100 and NEMA MG-1 ; CSA approval (certificate LR 100948) and EAC certification also apply.
