The M3/65E-S02 opens the M3-E series : 0,635 kN at 3’000 rpm for 4,30 kg. It is the increased safety version of the M3 series, the only one in the compact format to cover both gas and dust.
Its terminal box sits beneath the machine, on the same side as the mounting base, and must be filled with silicone once wired — a requirement specific to this series. Audimat, official Italvibras distributor.

The M3/65E-S02 houses a asynchronous motor 2-pole motor in a high-strength aluminium alloy housing with a shot-blasted surface. The bearing flange is ductile cast iron, the shaft alloy steel with isothermal hardening, and the weight covers die-cast aluminium. The windings are vacuum-impregnated and the rotor is die-cast aluminium. Protection IP66, impact resistance IK08, insulation class F (155 °C), continuous duty S1 from −20 °C to +40 °C.
The M3 series is certified II 2 G and II 2 D under directive 2014/34/EU. The protection method is increased safety on the gas side — Ex e IIC T4 Gb, temperature class T4, that is 135 °C — and Ex tb IIIC T120 °C Db on the dust side, standards EN 60079-0, EN 60079-7 and EN 60079-31. The machine therefore covers zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. To these are added KOSHA certification for Korea (certificates 11-AVG BO-0346 to 0351) and EAC certification for the Eurasian Customs Union. The declared tE time is 20 seconds.
Two features set this series apart. The terminal box sits beneath the vibrator, on the same side as the mounting base, which markedly raises electrical protection in dusty surroundings ; its profiled terminals grip the cable and keep it from working loose. And the mounting base is a multi-hole one, which allows several existing hole spacings to be reused. The eccentric weights adjust from 100 % to 0 and the ball bearings are sealed and lubricated for life.
