Size 35 of the CDX series, the CDX 075/400-G/D develops 2,83 kN at 750 rpm. Its spheroidal graphite cast iron enclosure is sized so that the gases of an internal explosion cannot reach the surrounding atmosphere.

The CDX 075/400-G/D houses a three-phase asynchronous motor whose enclosure applies the flameproof protection method « db »: the thickness of the frame and the geometry of the flameproof joints stop an internal explosion from spreading to the surrounding atmosphere. Protection IP66, impact resistance IK08, insulation class F (155 °C), continuous operation from −20 °C to +40 °C.
The 130 °C thermal protection, fitted as standard on type G/D units, connects to a circuit rated for a maximum of 600 V a.c. and 720 VA, controlled by a pulse switch with manual reset. A PTC thermistor 130 °C is available on specific request.
