The CDX 10/22000-G is size 110 of the Italvibras flameproof series in 6 poles. At 1’000 rpm it delivers 220 kN on 50 Hz, with a spheroidal graphite cast iron frame and an extra-thick terminal box cover sized to contain an internal explosion.

The CDX 10/22000-G houses a three-phase asynchronous motor whose enclosure applies the flameproof protection method « db »: the thickness of the frame and the geometry of the flameproof joints stop an internal explosion from spreading to the surrounding atmosphere. Protection IP66, impact resistance IK08, insulation class F (155 °C), continuous operation from −20 °C to +60 °C.
Note: unlike the G/D versions, type G CDX units have neither thermal protection nor a PTC thermistor. Motor protection must therefore be provided by the installation. An anti-condensation preheating system of 26 W remains available on request, advisable below −20 °C ambient.
