The CDX 15/2410-G/D combines a speed of 1’500 rpm with a centrifugal force of 23,7 kN on 50 Hz. Frame size 60, in spheroidal graphite cast iron, designed for the flameproof protection method.

The CDX 15/2410-G/D is built around a three-phase asynchronous motor whose protection does not seek to prevent the internal explosion but to contain it. That is the principle of the « db » method, and it requires the enclosure and its joints to remain intact. Protection IP66, IK08, insulation class F (155 °C), permitted ambient from −20 °C to +40 °C, continuous duty S1.
The 130 °C thermal protection, fitted as standard on type G/D units, connects to a circuit rated for a maximum of 600 V a.c. and 720 VA, controlled by a pulse switch with manual reset. A PTC thermistor 130 °C is available on specific request.
CDX units ship without a cable gland : the user must fit one, certified for flameproof enclosures and compliant with the standards of the country of installation. Installation, wiring and maintenance of this series follow strict rules, set out in our guide to the CDX flameproof vibrator motor.
