Nine models of mechanical exciters with rotational motion, from 106 to 581 kN, for screens and vibrating machines of medium and large size. No built-in motor : they are driven by an external motor rated 5.5 to 30 kW.

Click a model to open its detailed page. Each model comes in two weight configurations, 1U and 2U, each with its own part number — both are shown in the last column.
A conventional vibrator motor contains its own electric motor and is wired directly. A mechanical exciter does not : it is a set of eccentric weights on bearings, driven by an external motor that you select and size yourself. That is why the catalogue quotes a rating in kW rather than a voltage or a current.
This makes sense on medium and large machines : separating the vibrating part from the driving part reduces the loads on the motor and extends the service life of the assembly.
The force is not adjusted by phasing weights as on a vibrator motor, but by choosing the additional weights. Each model is listed in two extreme configurations, with intermediate values available.
The trade-off is constant : more weights mean a higher static moment but a lower maximum permissible speed. The working moment is twice the static moment.
