Construction and operation of the FKL-100 Mi
The piston is forced against a spring by compressed air ; as it passes the control outlet duct, it is vented suddenly and bounces against a baffle plate, the duct then closing to repeat the cycle at the interval set by the throttle. Impact force is adjustable pneumatically via pressure, but also mechanically thanks to a threaded rod with lock nut limiting piston stroke. The hard-anodised aluminium housing and base plate protect a steel piston and an impact-resistant synthetic baffle plate. Lubrication-free, it is available with ATEX certification.
